For the last several week's, these Nuggets
have been about preparing us to use our voice to further the Kingdom of God,
especially in the area of speaking blessings over the women, not only in our
lives but also to all women we see or have contact with us. This past Sunday, a
Pastor I heard was impressing to his congregation the necessity to begin
speaking, using our voices to speak, with faith, that which God wants for us
since God already has our desires already planned for us to benefit His Kingdom.
This evening, He gave me a word that some of us continue to be hindered by the
past and until we can get past the past, we cannot fully embrace the future. And
this can only be accomplished through humility. This week's "Nugget" is not
simply a "Nugget" but an entire word for someone.
During the second week of our journey
toward becoming Valiant Men, Section 2-4 "Digging Deeper," says that "the
Valiant Man Lifekeys experience represents a prime opportunity for you to
exercise humility and admit brokenness. Telling the truth about your weaknesses,
struggles and failures can be the beginning of humility. Pride, self-confidence
and appearance management are the enemies of humility."
Sometimes, in order to leap
forward as Kingdom Builders, we must go back and discover that
very first time we were tempted; and for some, gave into the
enemy. For me, I was about 8 years old playing on the railroad
tracks down the street from our house and I came across a stash
of immoral magazines. Needless to say, fixation took place,
objectification of women set in, and I ended up traveling down
the tracks of unrighteousness. Back then I knew this
"stash" was wrong but continued to visit that place. In a way, I
felt like Lot back in the book of Genesis where Abram and Lot
parted ways and Lot lived very near to Sodom and Gomorrah. If
you seek further in the Word , Lot was seen as taking the selfish path and Abram was
obedient to God and was later accounted to as being blessed by
the Lord. What's notable here is that in Genesis 13:13, it
states, "Now the men of Sodom were wicked and were sinning
greatly against the Lord." So looking back, I can see myself as
a modern day Lot living near Sodom (the stash of immoral books
hidden in the bushes near the railroad tracks and the very
people who placed them there.) But unlike Lot, I gave into the sin
of my Sodom and Gomorrah.
That's where my path toward destruction began. Your Sodom and
Gomorrah may be very similar to mine; or contained within the
circle of friends you currently keep, or simply the everyday temptations
that are tossed your way.
Ah, but for Jesus !!!!!
In our book, "Digging
Deeper" continues by stating, "Whatever stays hidden in the
darkness, retains it's power to torment and intimidate. Breaking
the silence is one of the keys to breaking the power of shame."
So before we go further, think hard about where your Sodom and
Gomorrah was or where it started. If your cannot remember, pray
for it to be revealed to you. When it does, repent and ask the
Lord for forgiveness.
Digging even deeper, in
Genesis 18 (The Gospel to Abraham), Verse 20:21, it says, "Then
the Lord said, The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great
and their sin so grievous that I will go down and see for myself
if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached
me." God then sent two men (Angels) and another to see what was happening
within Sodom and Gomorrah and this is their account:
Please click below:

As the men (Angels) told Lot that they were there to
destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, so too has He sent the Valiant Men Course, Angels,
and His workers to encourage you to destroy all that is in the way of you
becoming Valiant Men within His Kingdom. In the
Valiant Man Participants Manual, 5-14, Dr. Meyer stresses to us to:
- Not repress your struggle or emotions
- confront them,
- Stop all behaviors that cause
[immoral] adrenalin rushes,
- Cultivate healthy loving relationships
as the highest priority;
- Bounce our eyes away from [immorally]
stimulating sights other then your own wife;
- Destroy all [immoral] material in
whatever form. LEAVE NOTHING; and
- Change your habits.
This passage further reinforces this
as it applies to the world we live in today:

Look how these words
from the Bible reveal what is happening today: Deut
32:32
"Their
vine comes from the vine of Sodom and from the fields of
Gomorrah." (In today's world, this speaks of the people who put out immoral books, magazines, and
movies.) "Their grapes are filled with poison, and their
clusters with bitterness.
33Their
wine is the venom of serpents, the deadly poison of cobras."
Ah,
but for Jesus! He died so that we can be released of the vary
poison that cultivated itself once again in this age. He knows
your trials and wants to rescue you from them. You have the
ability to obey God's "A Plan" for you. We need to get on to
Kingdom Building and put the past into the past.
And
lastly 2 Peter 2:4-10 says:

AMEN |
